Is reincarnation a possibility?

Why can't I lie in the sun like this and be perfectly content?

I guess that would depend on which religious philosophy you adhere to. :)

Personally, the idea that if we royally screw things up here we can have a chance to live life over again is somewhat comforting, as well as disturbing, all at the same time.

Ah, we use to have a dog like that. But your dog makes me think of my teens years, when lying on the beach getting a tan was the height of relaxation.

I can't stand the feeling of baking in the sun. Hate it. I wish I didn't, as does my uber-pale skin.

Reincarnation. Now that's a topic. In order for reincarnation to be a reality, there would have to be a God managing the process.

Now if you are talking about being absorbed by a worm or tree and living a second life like that, then you might be on to something.

I'm not discounting the God-managed process, but what good is it if you can't remember your past life to correct your old mistakes.

Bishop Rick has a really good point. Living another life doesn't make a whole lot of sense if you can't remember and improve on your past life. I just know I don't want to be reborn in Africa unless I was a lion.

I've said for years, when I come back in my next life, I want to come back as a dog for exactly the reason in the picture: to lay in the sun and nap, nap, nap.
