Can you tell which is the lie?

Cele tagged me to write five things about myself, only one of them is a lie. Can you guess which one?

1. I jumped the fence of a locked cemetery in Vienna late at night and walked around the graves to see the headstones with candles burning in remembrance of the dead.

2. I don't know how to swim.

3. My first kiss was with a man(boy) who later turned out to be gay.

4. I skipped school as an exchange student for over half the year. I never told my host parents.

5. I rode the Greyhound bus from Billings, MT to Colorado Springs once. It took 22 hours.

I'm thinking no way you skipped school for half a year.

I am SO bad at this stuff. The power of discernment was never mine. Anyway, I agree with cele that there's no way you skipped a half a year of school.

Though I'm thinkig it might just be outrageous enough to be true.

Ha! She totally skipped school. I have a 2 am - 1 hour phone call about her panic at maybe having to be sent home to prove that! In fact, I think I paid for that call... LOL

My vote is on #1. It's 2 lines longer than the others (dead giveaway) and I know you can't jump fences any more than you can swim. Although, when did you ever have to go to Colorado Springs?

I'm going to go with number 2. Having lived in Vienna, I can totally see the thrill of hopping over the cemetary wall and rummaging around. European cemetaries are so freaky and unlike American cemetaries, it's totally conceivable you would do this. And so are all the rest. But swimming-- well, I think you can do that, too.

I was having trouble choosing between 2 and 5, but since other people picked 2 I'm going with 5. Which is what I was going to go with anyway. Final answer (oh no -groan- did I REALLY just write that?).

#3 - because no one's chosen that one yet :)

I think number 6 is a lie. You left it out on purpose to throw us a curve.
