What I AM doing: Working my tail off getting billing ready for our clients. This week out of each month really sucks eggs.
What I'd RATHER BE doing: Painting at Keokea Beach Park we found in Hawaii on the Big Island...the one where the rocks loom straight up from the ocean, and the huge waves come crashing in with beautiful majesty unlike anything I've ever seen before. We climbed out on the rocks by the water and from there, we could see around the cliff face and it was breathtaking.
I'd love to actually live in Hawi Town and be an artist and live the simple life until I'm old. Wouldn't that be grand?

Whose hand is your oldest daughter holding? Could this picture be edited?
I've never really wanted to go to Hawaii but that picture is devine. Somewhat like the rocky edges of Oregon.
Would there be room there for me too??? I would LOVE going back and would LOVE to live there as an artist. After my first week of my last class went(which was rather crappy by the way), I would love to run away and just be an artist!!! :)
Aaaah. The ocean. I love the sound and scenery of crashing waves against sea cliffs. So relaxing. I'll carry your bags, if I can come along, too.
BR ~ of course this picture is edited. And we aren't holding hands. Those are MY hands. I'm not about to lose my international woman of mystery status now!
Cele ~ I have never in my entire life known anyone who didn't want to go to Hawaii. Can I please check your temperature??
Jazzy ~ When I retire to the Island, you are welcome to join me. What fun we'd have!
Janet ~ You KNOW you're welcome too. Hell, I'll even carry my own bag!
What a lovely place! It's in my "to-visit" list for sure!
Well, I never really wanted to go to Hawaii either, but I DID go when I was 15 with my theatre group and it was pretty neat-o. Lately I've been thinking much the same as you - go find a lovely little bungalow (that looks wrong...???) and live in the laid-back atmosphere of Hawaii. Ahhh, I'm pretending I'm there RIGHT NOW. Mmmm.
It is so nice to go somewhere that is laid back. Whenever we go down to Key West, I think about moving there & getting a job in a t-shirt shop to live a simple life. Daydreaming is right! Hope your dreams come true.
Hm, besides from "Magnum P.I." I only connect Hawaii with sudden bad weather and roads flushed away. But then I've never been there...
I'm glad you wrote "until I'm old", 'cause you know I'm expecting you in Spain by the time you turn 70 or so.
:)
