Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?

I heard this song by Shania Twain this morning and it reminded me of a funny story from when my son was about three or four.

Shania was singing on the radio: "Whose bed have your boots been under?" and I asked my son, "Hey! Whose bed have YOUR boots been under?"

He looked at me with a funny look and said, "I don't GOT no boots, Mom!"

We had a good laugh at that.

Now, I'm afraid to ask him that question.

The two-year-old boy I nannied for used to know her entire "I Feel Like a Woman" song, including the little "Ows" and barking mid-song. It was awesome.

Ouch! does he even own a pair boots this time? I don't want to make the obvious assumption since he lives in MT, but I think as much as we may fear, we have to ask our teenagers that now and then. Cheers!
