Just trust me: life is good when you listen to your inner voice, even if it's hard to do whatever it is you know you need to do. Sometimes you choose something that makes life so much more peaceful and enjoyable to live. You have but one life. Treasure it.
Yup. A few years ago I decided to start reading the Sister Mary Lisa blog. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. She brightens my day every time I read one of her posts.
I am trying so hard to listen to your advise about listening to the inner voice... right now I don't feel peace, only pain. I hope peace will follow when the dust settles.
Right or wrong, decisions will continue to play themselves out over and over. I'm glad you listen to your inner voice; in my opinion, that's the best indicator of what you should do.
I wish all my decisions were that way. I started living my life that way years ago, and have found that the consequences of those decisions can sneak up and bite you when you least expect it. Who knows, maybe I'm just a skeptic
Leaving the mormon church was 100 times over the best thing I have ever done. And although I haven't lived long, it very well might be the wisest thing I'll ever do. Nothing has ever felt like such a relief, or so right, or so natural.

The hard ones to make are often the most rewarding.
