Don
I was commissioned to do this portrait in graphite during the week between Christmas and New Years Day. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, especially since I haven't drawn a man since high school.
I must admit that chest hair is very fun to draw.
Amazing, as always! :)
ReplyDeleteTell us about the man you "drew in high school". The only one I'm aware of was Cal Metler. But then again, I'm your big brother and things are sometimes kept from my knowledge. Ha Ha. Bet you wish Cal was kept from my knowledge....
ReplyDeleteDid he go to West Point? I'm so curious now!
ReplyDeleteLisa,
ReplyDeleteGreat portrait! (as always)
Lisa, wonderful work. I can draw the right eye and then I'm toast. Or the picture is toast. Your talent is wonderful m-and it has both eyes, and chest hair,
ReplyDeleteI love his lips...very sensual! This is your best work yet! :)
ReplyDeletePokerspice, thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteEric, you are inspiring me to actually post about the man I drew in high school...I'm loving keeping you in suspense a bit longer! Ha!
Jazzy, thanks. Your support means so much to me, as you know.
Cele, practice makes perfect! Just draw what you see, baby, even if it feels wrong.
EHL, it's hard to fit all our interests into one lifetime, huh?
JOOM, I really thought this portrait exuded sexiness too. Isn't he handsome???
The detail is incredible… nice work!
ReplyDeleteReally nice work. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteAmazing work!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. I can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great piece! (the portrait that is) ;) It should be titled "sultry in graphite"! MUAH!
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed. Art, like music is something I think would be a great talent to have, and one that I might even attain if I got training, and took Ritalin to keep myself focused long enough!
